The Carolton Rehabilitation Department provides:
- Inpatient physical and occupational therapy (available seven days a week ) in a modern, dedicated and fully-equipped 4,000 square foot Rehabilitation Center
- Extensive outpatient physical and occupational therapy five days a week Call us for details on arranging sessions through your physician
- Specialized equipment to help even bedridden patients regain muscle strength, balance and flexibility
- A three-room apartment setting to incorporate the necessary activities of daily living into our therapy
- Speech Therapy, including cognitive re-training
- Evaluation and treatment of swallowing (dysphagia) disorders
- Specialized training in ambulation, endurance, energy conservation and activities of daily living
- Wheelchair positioning expertise in pain management
- Wound care
- An adjacent parking area for practicing wheelchair-to-car transfers
- In-room assistive equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, canes, commodes) and functional room furnishings to achieve each patient's rehabilitation goals and optimal comfort
